West Brom have sacked manager Slaven Bilic with Sam Allardyce set to be named as the Croatian’s replacement.
The news comes despite the club, who sit 19th in the Premier League, picking up a valuable point in a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Bilic had been in charge at The Hawthorns since June 2019, when he replaced Darren Moore and guided the Baggies back into the Premier League at the first time of asking in his first season in charge.
talkSPORT understands Allardyce, who pulled out of a scheduled radio appearance, is in advanced discussions with club hierarchy about taking over at the Hawthorns – initially on a short-term basis.
The former England boss would also be in line to receive a substantial bonus should he manage to preserve West Brom’s Premier League status.
