Tyson Fury has said he’s concerned about Deontay Wilder’s mental health as a result of his comments over the past two weeks.

The American spoke out for the first time since March at the end of last month, accusing Fury of cheating in their rematch first by posting a video and statement on social media, and then following up with various interviews.

In the video, Wilder alleged Fury tampered with his gloves to put his fist in an improper position.

He added that he believes the Brit had a hard object concealed within his gloves to deal extra damage.

The American next claimed his water was spiked with muscle relaxers before the fight, potentially by his own co-trainer Breland.

He also pushed further accusations of disloyalty at Breland – who threw in the towel to end the bout – as well as placing some blame on referee Kenny Bayless.

Wilder concluded by making dark threats in Fury’s direction.

Regarding everybody he believes ‘cheated’ him, the former WBC champion said: ” I want them bad, I want them bad.

“And when I get them, because I’mma get them, you better make the funeral arrangements.

“And when it happens I’m coming to spit on their tomb. I’m coming to spit on every last one of them.”

Fury responded on This Morning on Wednesday: “I think Wilder’s got bigger issues than actual boxing at the moment.

“I’m quite worried for Wilder’s mental health and wellbeing.

“We all don’t wanna be defeated after such a long time of being undefeated professionals, but there has to be a point where you accept defeat and move on.

Tyson Fury responds to Deontay Wilder’s cheating accusations of him and says the American has ‘lost his marbles’ and it ‘just making excuses’ for loss

“Wilder doesn’t seem to be able to do that. He’s holding all these malice feelings and he’s making all these excuses.

“I’m quite concerned for his mental wellbeing after this defeat because he’s coming out with ludicrous statements and I’m not sure what’s going on

“But I always say, I’m only a phone call away and if I can help in any way then I would give him the best advice I can.

“But to go on like he’s continuing, it seems to me like the fight has really affected his mental wellbeing.”
