Will the eligibility criteria change?
Finance expert Martin Lewis said on This Morning recently he is “hoping” the Government will improve the eligibility criteria for SEISS grant four to include more people who are newly self-employed.
He said: “We don’t yet know the details of it, I’m hoping they’ll improve the eligibility and let people with 2019 to 2020 tax returns finally get it.
“It should have been done before, but we don’t have the details, we do know there will be a fourth grant, but anything more than that are just not available yet.”
However, it is not currently clear what the eligibility criteria will be for SEISS grant four, as details on the next installment have not been announced yet.
Anthony Morrow, co-founder of OpenMoney, told Express.co.uk: “There certainly should be more support aimed at the self-employed, who have been consistently left behind on the packages created throughout the pandemic.
