Logan Paul insists he wants to fight in the UFC one day and has pleaded with Dana White to not confuse him with his brother Jake.
The YouTube star – who lost his sole bout as a professional boxer to KSI – will be facing boxing royalty later this year when he faces Floyd Mayweather.
Meanwhile, his brother Jake is also making waves in the world of combat sports by knocking out former NBA star Nate Robinson on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr undercard and then calling out Conor McGregor.
‘The Notorious’ is one of the most lucrative draws in the fighting world and the younger Paul brother has released a series of insulting video messages to lure the Irishman into a fight.
Despite his best efforts, the former two-weight world champion is yet to entertain the idea and an exasperated White told reporters he is not surprised.
“Neither one of those guys can fight,” White said. “It’s all a big gimmick.
“Like I said in a press conference, there’s a market for that. If people are dumb enough to spend their money watching that s***, I don’t know what to tell you.
“Good luck to them. I [couldn’t] care less what that guy [does]. I get it. He’s trying to make some money and is doing his thing.
“There are people who want to spend money on that. I’m not that guy.”
However, in the wake of these comments, Logan Paul has now moved to distance himself from his brother’s actions and pleaded with the UFC chief to let him compete in the octagon one day.
“He [Jake] pissed off Dana White,” Logan said on his podcast. “Now Dana has grouped us together which sucks.
“I love Dana White, I love the UFC. Now Dana thinks we’re the same person.
“We’re so different. I love the UFC fights,” Logan added. “I want to do a UFC fight one day. I’m not saying now, let me get my skills up.
“Dana, take me back. I’m not Jake! Please. Bro, he’s given me tickets to go to UFC fights before. F***! F***! I love Conor McGregor dude.”
